Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Designer to join our team at Honsador Lumber. As a Truss & EWP Designer, you will be responsible for generating clear and accurate working plans and detail layout drawings for the fabrication of roof/floor trusses and components.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in truss design, a strong understanding of construction principles, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret design requirements and create detailed drawings for truss fabrication
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and compliance with building codes
  • Analyze and troubleshoot design issues to minimize errors and optimize production
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of designs, materials, and processes
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Truss or EWP Designer
  • Strong knowledge of construction principles, mathematics, and geometry
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
