Job Summary
The Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services is responsible for leading the Imaging Services Department to deliver high-quality patient care. This role involves planning, directing, and managing patient care delivery within the department, ensuring an optimal practice environment that meets the needs of patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Imaging Services Department to ensure policies, procedures, and standards of care are consistent and meet the organization's goals.
- Provide positive leadership and oversee supervision of staff, recognizing staff contributions and fostering educational and developmental opportunities.
- Develop and implement an annual operating budget and capital budget to meet the organization's fiscal needs.
- Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring staff adhere to all regulatory requirements, including JCAHO, Title 22, and 17.
- Provide leadership, oversight, and guidance for all Radiation Safety Practices.
- Work with Physician staff to promote quality, efficiency, and program development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or a related field.
- Master's Degree in Healthcare or a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of Supervisory/Managerial experience.
- 5 years of Clinical experience.
- Computer experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem solve, analyze situations, think critically, give constructive feedback, and supervise a team.
- Ability to develop and manage operating and capital equipment budgets.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Physician staff to promote quality and program development.
