Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Parkridge Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality cardiopulmonary care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
  • Perform diagnostic tests of the cardiovascular and pulmonary system to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disorders.
  • Deliver and assess responses to ordered therapy per plan of care, including routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures.
  • Utilize various types of oxygen and other therapeutic gas equipment, such as masks, tents, and incubators.
  • Measure ventilatory volumes, pressures, and blood gas analysis.
  • Perform a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, sterilizing, and storing respiratory therapy equipment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
  • BLS healthcare provider within 30 days.
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist, or Licensed Respiratory Therapist, or RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP).
