Role Summary:
CoreCivic is actively seeking *Registered Nurses* who are dedicated to delivering top-tier care within an institutional framework.

Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be capable of executing all of the following duties at a pace and performance level that aligns with the actual job requirements:
  • Utilize appropriate nursing techniques in the treatment of inmates/residents.
  • Participate in sick call alongside the physician to assess inmates/residents; compile a list of individuals to be examined; prepare the examination area and necessary equipment.
  • Assess and evaluate new inmates/residents with health issues or those who become ill or injured; refer individuals to emergency services or other suitable healthcare facilities as dictated by their condition.
  • Implement emergency protocols as necessary and inform the Licensed Independent Provider for treatment directives.
  • Provide oversight, guidance, and monitoring of nursing care delivered by licensed vocational/practical nursing staff and non-licensed medical personnel.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a degree/diploma in nursing.
  • Must hold current licensure in the state of employment.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of professional nursing experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
