About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Quality Consultant to join our dynamic team at Altamira-US, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will play a significant role in business development, collaborating closely with our multi-disciplinary team to enhance our services and bring on board other skilled air professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance Management: Oversee air quality permitting and regulatory compliance for various projects, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to industry standards.
  • Emissions Calculations and Reporting: Develop and prepare emissions calculations and regulatory applicability reports, providing accurate and timely data to stakeholders.
  • Air Quality Impact Analysis: Conduct thorough air quality impact analyses and prepare technical reports, informing business decisions and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Client and Regulatory Agency Engagement: Consult with regulatory agencies and clients to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Technical Expertise and Support: Provide technical expertise and support to project teams and other departments, driving innovation and excellence in air quality consulting.
  • Permit Application Preparation and Review: Lead the preparation and review of air quality permit applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to junior staff members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Business Development and Client Acquisition: Assist business development efforts to attract new clients and expand our market presence, leveraging your expertise and network.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-20 years of experience in air quality consulting, environmental compliance, or a related field.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of federal and state air quality regulations and policies.
  • Emissions Calculations and Reporting: Experience with air emissions calculations and reporting.
  • Communication and Business Development Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record in business development and client acquisition.
  • Project Management and Leadership: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong leadership presence.
  • Professional Certifications: Professional certifications (such as PE) preferred.
