About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse I/II/III at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children (VTCC), you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement care for children and adolescents with mental health needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct patient care, including administering medications and developing treatment plans.
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Participating in educational programs and staying up-to-date on industry developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility for compact state licensure.
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience, depending on the level of the position.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
