Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and repair defective tools and fleet vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with the Equipment Manager to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
  1. Preventative Maintenance
  • Perform routine maintenance on company-owned tools and vehicles according to a standard schedule.
  • Keep accurate logs of maintenance activities.
  1. Parts Procurement
  • Order replacement parts from vendors and ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with the Equipment Manager to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
  1. Shop Operations
  • Ensure the shop area is clean, organized, and safe.
  • Store tools and equipment in their designated areas.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience
  • Trade school or 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  1. Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to summarize actions and communicate effectively with supervisors.
  • Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks.
Work Environment
  1. Work Conditions
  • Work in a general warehouse environment and construction site environment.
  • May require overtime hours and travel.
