We are currently seeking a dedicated Patient Access Coordinator.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift:
Day/Evening shift 7:00am – 3:30pm/3:00pm-11:30pm with weekend and vacation rotation

Key Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the Patient Access Manager and oversight from the Team Leader, Patient Access, perform a variety of tasks to enhance patient access across the organization.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and gather accurate patient information to promote safety and optimize reimbursement in accordance with external regulations.
Actively assess and collect patient financial responsibilities.Qualifications:
Completion of high school education plus additional relevant coursework or training; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
Medical Terminology Certification is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Proficient computer skills, particularly with medical software, are necessary.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, is preferred.
A minimum of three years of relevant healthcare experience, including interactions with third-party payers, is required.
CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manager) or CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) certification is preferred.
Medical Terminology Certification is mandatory.
Candidates must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or provide an exemption for medical or personal reasons upon hiring.
Compensation:
USD $26.86 per hour.
