Banquet Cook

Crowne Plaza Lansing is seeking a skilled Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. As a Banquet Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and producing high-quality meals for our guests and events.

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for banquets and events, including soups, sauces, proteins, and vegetables.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other culinary team members to ensure smooth service and high-quality food.
• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
• Participate in menu planning and development to ensure dishes meet the hotel's standards.
• Maintain accurate records of food inventory and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum of six months of prior food service experience, preferably in a banquet or catering environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Basic technology and computational skills.
