UPMC Harrisburg is a full-service hospital with 411 beds, offering a range of medical specialties, including women's health, gastroenterology, and urology. Our state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
Salary and BenefitsOur competitive salary package includes an estimated $71,500 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and education. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including up to five and a half weeks of paid time off annually, plus seven paid holidays each year.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Nurse Professional Staff, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality patient care and treatment while demonstrating empathy and a passion for learning
- Working collaboratively with physicians, other care providers, and patients' families to achieve desired patient outcomes
- Establishing relationships with patients and their families to provide personalized care and support
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- A current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse or Temporary Practice Permit with a commitment to taking the NCLEX examination within four months of hire
- BLS certification based on AHA standards
- Act 34 Criminal Clearance
- Basic Life Support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
