About the Role
The Security Operations Specialist serves as a key component in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all members of Life Time Fitness. This role is responsible for preventing crimes and reporting suspicious activity, ensuring the overall well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides a welcoming presence to members while answering questions and assisting with their needs.
- Educates members and team members on security protocols and precautionary measures to maintain a secure environment.
- Conducts regular patrols of the facility to ensure perimeter security and safety.
- Identifies security concerns or suspicious activities and reports them to management as necessary.
- Responds to member concerns or complaints and intervenes when necessary to resolve issues.
- Documents all suspicious activity and incidents for review and analysis.
- Collaborates with the Asset Protection Manager to conduct internal and external surveillance audits.
- Maintains relationships with local law enforcement agencies to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
- Participates in video extraction and review with the Asset Protection Manager to enhance security protocols.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6 months of experience as a security guard
- CPR/AED certification
- Awareness of potential injuries and ability to handle emergencies
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Law Enforcement/Military experience
