Maternal and Family Health Services is seeking a dedicated Resource Navigator to join our team in Hazleton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in connecting clients with essential health and social services, building strong relationships with community partners, and promoting a culture of acceptance and empowerment.

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, community partners, and MFHS staff to facilitate access to needed services.
• Provide education and assistance to clients in navigating the health and social service systems, including enrollment in MFHS programs.
• Develop and maintain a database of community resources to support MFHS staff and clients.
• Represent MFHS at professional conferences, community events, and meetings to build relationships and connections within the community.
• Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of programs and services offered by MFHS, subrecipients, and community partners to ensure seamless service delivery.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; degree in public health or related field preferred.
• One year experience working in a community setting with diverse populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated skills in creative problem-solving, community engagement, outreach, and cultural competency.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• Ability and willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
