We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Mercy Hospital Jefferson. As a key member of our nursing administration department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and supporting the growth and development of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the day-to-day administrative functions of the nursing administration department, including EPIC support, wound care, patient admits/discharges, and inpatient diabetic education.
- Act as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Consult with chief nurse executive, physicians, nurse managers, and charge nurses on nursing problems and interpretation/application of hospital and nursing services policies and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining performance improvement and CQI activities within the department.
- Participate in staff scheduling processes in conjunction with the Nurse Managers and the charge nurses on each nursing unit.
- In the absence of administrative presence, serve as the house-wide administrative representative.
- Current RN License in the applicable state of practice.
- A minimum of three years current inpatient hospital experience. Critical Care experience is preferred.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, EKG. NIH within 60 days of hire and annually.
