About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java FSD with AWS expertise to join our team at ASCEND MINDS. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure cloud-based applications using Java and AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop cloud-native applications using Java and AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
2. Implement RESTful APIs using Spring and Spring Boot, and work with Hibernate and databases to ensure data consistency and integrity.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS and Java technologies, and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to improve team skills and expertise.

Requirements:
1. Proficient in coding in one or more modern programming languages like Java, ReactJS, and JavaScript (25%).
2. Strong experience in Front End Skills (25%).
3. Proficient in Back End FSD Skills (75%), with a strong focus on RESTful API implementation, Hibernate/Data, Spring, and Spring Boot microservices architecture and databases.
4. Hands-on experience in AWS, specifically ECS/EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, and Step Functions (Must Have).
5. Experience working in Camunda, Kafka, Cassandra/NoSQL relational databases (Must Have).
6. Knowledge of CI/CD deployment with tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle (Must Have).

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with deployment in the cloud using Terraform.
2. Practical cloud-native experience.
3. Knowledge of Domain Driven Design and micro frontend UIs.
4. AWS professional certification is preferred.
