We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at Tenet-AZ Region in Tucson, Arizona.

Job Summary:

This is a per diem / PRN nursing position requiring a skilled and dedicated RN with experience in emergency care. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

As an Emergency Department Nurse with Tenet-AZ Region, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct nursing care to patients in the emergency department, prioritizing their needs and responding to emergencies as necessary.
  • Assesses patient conditions, develops and implements individualized care plans, and evaluates treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with families and caregivers, and ensure seamless transitions throughout the hospital stay.
  • Participates in ongoing education and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills, staying current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient information, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.

Requirements:

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • A valid Arizona Nursing License or compact state license, with the ability to obtain Arizona licensure within 30 days.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or other relevant specialty certifications.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Tenet-AZ Region offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
