Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Kwik Trip. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in the operations of our retail store, working closely with the Location Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Location Manager and Assistant Manager in the development of new employees, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
  • Account for all shift and daily transactions, ensuring accurate and timely recording of sales and inventory data.
  • Take responsibility for all cash and inventories in the absence of the Assistant Manager and Store Manager, maintaining the highest standards of security and integrity.
  • Manage product storage, maintenance, and rotation activities to prevent damage or spoilage, ensuring that our products are always fresh and available to our customers.
  • Maintain the store in accordance with maintenance policies, ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail or hospitality environment, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
