Job Summary: Chipton-Ross is seeking a skilled Signal/Image Processing Engineer for a contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze complex algorithms related to signal/image processing.
  • Evaluate system performance in complex scenarios and environments.
  • Verify system and subsystem level requirements.
  • Develop and present technical material to internal leadership and external customers.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience with developing and analyzing algorithms related to signal/image processing.
  • 5-8 years of experience with one or more of the following programming languages: C++, Matlab, Python.
  • Degree(s) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, applied mathematics, or similar.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with linear algebra software packages.
  • Strong programming skills that can translate to C++ development in a Linux environment.
  • Experience deploying algorithms that satisfy real-time performance requirements.

Education: Accredited Degree(s) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, applied mathematics, or similar.

Shift: 4/10-1st Shift

Clearance: Applicants must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
