Senior Aircraft Maintenance Leader

Job Overview
As a pivotal member of our Technical Operations team, you will oversee the inspection, modification, and repair of aircraft at our maintenance facility. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting technical issues and executing repairs on our fleet. You will also lead and mentor a team of mechanics in advanced tasks, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
1. Diagnose and resolve technical discrepancies in company aircraft.
2. Conduct thorough aircraft inspections in accordance with established procedures.
3. Utilize electronic testing equipment and troubleshooting tools proficiently.
4. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical orders effectively.
5. Supervise and assist in the maintenance of company tools and equipment.
6. Collaborate with contract maintenance personnel as part of a cohesive team.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards in the workplace.
8. Communicate any discrepancies found during inspections to the Maintenance Control department and follow their guidance for repairs.
9. Ensure all aircraft documentation is completed accurately in compliance with company and FAA regulations prior to departure.
10. Organize daily tasks and coordinate aircraft inspections and repairs.
11. Manage materials and tooling requirements for the entire shift.
12. Act as shift manager when necessary.
13. Schedule manpower effectively to meet maintenance and inspection needs.
14. Conduct manual and aircraft parts inventories as required.
15. Assist other departments to ensure timely departures of aircraft.
16. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
- Extensive experience in transport category aircraft maintenance.
- Formal training in advanced systems and avionics.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English fluently.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft software and digital manuals.
- Excellent organizational skills and work ethic.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Must possess a valid passport or state-issued driver's license and be willing to travel occasionally for special projects.

Salary Range:
$88,500 - $119,000

Financial offers will be determined based on various factors, including location, relevant experience, and skill set.
