As a Trauma and Orthopedic Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with experienced professionals to provide top-notch care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Non-Waived Point of Care Testing: Direct and perform non-waived point of care testing duties and responsibilities within the scope of the assigned job and in accordance with all standards and regulations following successful completion of review and approval process.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, ensuring seamless operation of our clinical units.
- Education and Licensure: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
- Certifications: Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). Other REQUIRED cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.) are unit specific.
- Additional Requirements: Please refer to the specific clinical unit for additional education, competencies and/or certification required as a condition of employment.
- Education: BSN degree preferred.
- Certifications: National Certification in Clinical Specialty preferred.
