Apartment Trash Collector (Service Valet) Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apartment Trash Collector (Service Valet). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting trash from residents' doorsteps and transporting it to the onsite trash compactor at the apartment community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport trash bags collected from residents' doorsteps to the onsite trash compactor using a reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer.
  • Take required photos using our company's App during service to track and document the collection process.
  • Work independently and safely, adapting to changing weather conditions and navigating apartment communities.

  • Competitive hourly pay: Up to $20/hour, with higher pay for associates using a pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer.
  • Flexible evening hours, typically working 5 nights a week from Sunday to Thursday.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
  • A reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance in your name (or listed as a driver on policy) for your vehicle.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize our mobile app.
