We are seeking a highly skilled Health Record Technician I to join our team at the Correctional Training Facility in Soledad, CA. As a Health Record Technician I, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date health records for our patients. This is a part-time position, working 12 hours per week, with a monthly salary range of $1,528.20.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for patients, including processing Release of Information (ROI) document requests.
- Assist in sorting, prepping, and scanning patient documents.
- Maintain tracking logs of ROI requests.
- Work collaboratively with the Health Record Technician (HRT) II (Supervisor) to ensure compliance with California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) and California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) policies.
- One year of California state service clerical experience, including training and supervised work experience in the procurement and processing of health data.
- Or two years of clerical experience in the medical or health records section of a health facility.
This position requires travel and working in a correctional facility environment.
