Exercise Physiologist

This position is responsible for leading exercise therapy sessions, supervising cardiovascular stress tests, and providing patient education and care management in a cardiac rehabilitation setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead exercise therapy sessions for Phases I-III cardiac rehabilitation, adhering to exercise prescription and moderating activity to meet individual needs of participants.
- Supervise cardiovascular stress tests for individuals with and without chronic disease to obtain reliable and valid data.
- Provide patient education on cardiac risk factors, other health topics, and optimal outcomes.
- Conduct thorough and accurate documentation meeting Joint Commission, CMS, and HIPAA standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in cardiac rehabilitation or completion of a 600-hour clinical internship.
- CRT-Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) certification from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) within 1 year of hire.
