Surgical Technologist

Piedmont McDuffie Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
- Handle and pass instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons and other medical staff
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and other preparations for surgery
- Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout the procedure
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment
- Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or prior experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
