Role Summary:

The Ultrasound Technologist will conduct ultrasound examinations at a proficient level, requiring minimal supervision. This role involves performing a range of technical procedures that necessitate independent judgment and creativity to provide essential sonographic assessments for diagnostic purposes. Responsibilities include:
  • Executing ultrasound procedures with precision and skill.
  • Taking charge of specific areas or tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Educational Requirements: Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or diagnostic medical sonography, qualifying for registry by the relevant professional bodies.
  • Preferred Credentials: Certification in fetal echocardiography and Nuchal translucency (NT) certification.
  • Licensure: Registered or eligible for registration in OB-Gyn and Abdominal Sonography.
  • Skills: Proficiency in operating ultrasound machinery, assessing images, and managing patient mobility. Must demonstrate effective communication and the ability to adapt to challenging situations.
