Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and transporting them to the laboratory for testing. You will also provide updates to patient areas on the results of the tests and perform routine maintenance on work areas and equipment.

Responsibilities:
Gather and prepare specimens, samples, and supplies in a clinical lab environment.
Use various venipuncture methods to collect patient blood samples and transport them to the lab.
Evaluate patient identification to reduce pre-analytical errors and adverse patient outcomes.
Track progress on samples and work orders and provide updates to patient areas.

Requirements:
Basic computer literacy and ability to write legibly and record information accurately.
Minimum of 1 year of hospital phlebotomy experience preferred.
