Position Overview

The Anderson Firm, LLC is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled attorney to bolster our business and civil litigation division. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing, revising, drafting, and negotiating contracts, conducting legal research, preparing pleadings and correspondence, managing discovery processes, and advancing assigned cases in collaboration with the team. Compensation:

$80,000 annually plus performance bonuses

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate legal conflicts, provide counsel to clients, and negotiate solutions on their behalf
  • Conduct legal research, prepare for and participate in hearings or other legal proceedings, and offer general counsel under the guidance of senior attorneys
  • Engage with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure efficient case management
Qualifications:
  • Must have successfully passed the state bar exam
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for collaboration with all levels of staff and clients
  • Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet client needs and expand our client base
  • Active membership in good standing with the ABA (American Bar Association)
  • Must be in good standing with the Georgia Bar
  • Experience in family law, business litigation, and/or corporate law is required
  • We are not considering candidates with backgrounds solely in personal injury, insurance defense, medical malpractice, employment law, or criminal law.
