Responsibilities
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and electrocardiograms to identify potential health issues
  • Maintain telemetry supplies and equipment to ensure seamless patient care
  • Report patient condition to supervising parties and make informed decisions to ensure patient safety
  • Perform tasks that require frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • 1 year of Monitor Tech experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) is required
  • CMT/Cardiac experience preferred
  • Completion of Basic EKG/Arrhythmia course
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias
  • Must pass a Basic Rhythm test, if interviewed
