Radiology Imaging Specialist

Your Role as a Radiology TechnologistAs a Radiology Technologist, you will perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols to promote positive patient outcomes. You will be tasked with upholding the HCA mission, to commit to the care and improvement of human life.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for exams and procedures, assessing their condition prior to and during all radiologic procedures.
- Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to your physician's preference card.
- Test and monitor equipment for proper working condition.
- Document records and other forms accurately, adhering to approved policies/procedures.
- Confirm that all persons in your room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray.
- Communicate information about patient status to other staff responsible for patient care.
- Perform required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning care, storage, and calibration procedures.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technician, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
- BLS certification within 30 days of starting.
- A valid State Radiology Technician license.

Our estimated salary range for this position is $62,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
