UPS Part-Time Tractor Trailer Driver Job Description

As a UPS Part-Time Tractor Trailer Driver, you will play a vital role in our operations, driving a tractor trailer from one UPS location to another or to a customer on an established route. This is a great opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer on designated routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of packages.
  • Operate a tractor trailer in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the tractor trailer to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload packages from the tractor trailer, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A CDL license in home state.
  • Pass the DOT physical.
  • Reliability, responsibility, and a love of truck driving.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
