Job Title: Chief Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Civil Engineer to lead our team of civil engineers in delivering high-quality projects to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams to ensure quality work and meet project deadlines
  • Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets to ensure financial stability
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and staffing to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Ensure project-specific delivery requirements are met, including client standards and Quality Control processes
  • Lead project pursuits, secure contract work, and negotiate contracts as needed
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and development to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems that arise during the project lifecycle
  • Administer JT's Quality Assurance process for all projects
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with multiple years leading projects
  • Strong understanding of industry-standard design software (i.e., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Technical competence in developing and managing project budgets
  • Knowledge of client standards and Quality Control processes
