As a CDL A Delivery Driver with US Foods, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely delivery of our products to customers across the country.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Best-in-Class Customer Service: Build trusting relationships with customers and provide exceptional service to meet their needs.
  • Meet Scheduled Delivery Times: Ensure timely delivery of products to customers, maintaining productivity and efficiency throughout the day.
  • Unload Products: Safely unload products from the truck and place them in the customer storage area, using a hand truck as needed.
  • Perform Manual Heavy Lifting: Able to lift and move products up to 80 pounds, with frequent stops during the work shift.
  • Deliver in Inclement Weather: Deliver products in various weather conditions, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
  • Verify Delivery: Confirm delivery of products with customers and collect payment (cash or checks) as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL Class A: Possess a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Commercial Driving Experience: Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required.
  • DOT Physical: Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination.
  • Age and Education: Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
