Electrical Systems Specialist

CoolSys is a leading provider of indoor environment solutions, with over 150 years of experience in the industry. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Repair, maintain, and install electrical systems, including high and low-voltage systems
  • Determine layouts and testing of electrical patterns
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and code specifications
  • Perform upgrades or preventive maintenance to electrical control systems
  • Run tests, isolate problems, replace damaged sections of wiring, and layout circuits
Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma is required; prefer some trade or technical school classes
  • 3+ years work experience as an electrician apprentice
  • Electrician apprenticeship
  • License as a Journeyman or Electrician to meet state requirements
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations
  • Knowledge of electrical applications for high and low-voltage electric systems
  • Skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment and components
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of commercial construction industry-related products and tools
  • Skill in both verbal and written communication
