Job OpportunityCMI - Construction Mechanics, Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Youngstown, OH.Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components, as well as excellent customer service and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently.
  • Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
  • Test systems to ensure they are functioning properly and make adjustments as needed.
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Educate customers on maintenance and operating procedures for their HVAC system.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC training program or apprenticeship preferred.
  • EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, with a minimum of 4 years in installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NATE certification (North American Technician Excellence).
  • Experience with computerized HVAC control systems.
  • Additional certifications in specific HVAC manufacturers' equipment.
