We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Inspector to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a key member of our healthcare quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that long-term care facilities provide high-quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive Medicare/Medicaid certification surveys of long-term care facilities
- Evaluate the quality of care provided by facilities and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement plans to correct deficiencies and improve overall quality control
- Collaborate with facility staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and related nursing experience
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and holidays
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
