Master Urban Planner

T&M Associates is a leading firm in the field of urban planning, seeking a highly skilled Master Urban Planner to join our team based out of Bloomfield, NJ. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development.

• Municipal Planning Expertise: Prepare and oversee the development of master plans that align with community goals and regulatory requirements.
• Affordable Housing Specialist: Develop and implement affordable housing plans, including Housing Elements and Fair Share Plans, to address community needs and compliance.
• Land Use Board Expert: Review and assess development applications, providing expert recommendations and ensuring alignment with zoning and planning regulations.
• Client Relationship Manager: Serve as the primary contact for clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions through effective communication and project management.

• Education: BA/BS in Planning or a related field required; Master's Degree in City or Regional Planning or Urban Design highly desired.
• Certifications: PP (Professional Planner) and AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) licenses are required.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in municipal planning, land use planning, and/or project management.
• Skillset: Strong writing and oral communication skills, public speaking experience, ability to work independently and manage projects effectively.

This position offers a competitive salary of $$90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
