Job Summary

General Motors is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including circuit breakers, switches, and wiring.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, using diagnostic tools and techniques to resolve problems.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of electrical systems.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve electrical system efficiency and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electrical maintenance.

Requirements

  • U.S. Department of Labor Completion of Apprenticeship Certificate in Electrical trade or six (6) years of documented experience as an Electrician.
  • Ability to work flexible shift hours and day, afternoon, or night shift as well as overtime hours daily, weekends, and holidays on those shifts with little notice.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. depending on department.
