Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Always Compassionate Health. As a Home Infusion Field Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supervising the competence of nursing staff in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
  • Administer infusion therapy and educate patients and their families on therapy administration via IV.
  • Monitor patient safety and provide post-infusion follow-up care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, infusion pharmacy, and medical providers as necessary.
  • Supervise and evaluate the competence of nursing staff as requested.

Requirements:

  • NYS Registered Nursing License/Registration
  • BLS necessary/ACLS preferred
  • Up-to-date medical, inclusive of Physical, 2 PPD's OR QuantiFERON Gold blood test, or Chest X-Ray
  • MMR/Titers Lab Report
  • Flu Vaccination (if applicable) or Declination
  • 2 forms of government ID
  • 2 satisfactory professional references
  • Malpractice Insurance
  • Reliable vehicle transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory or managerial experience
  • Infusion experience is REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of principles & practices of supervision, performance evaluation, education
  • Knowledge of Federal HIPAA Regulations
  • Knowledge of standard nursing policies, procedures, methods, and techniques
