About This Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Digital Cinema Production to join our team at Academia Central. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses in digital cinema production, including film production, cinematography, and screenwriting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a range of courses in digital cinema production, including film production, cinematography, and screenwriting
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. film, media studies, communications)
  • 3 years of experience in the film industry (e.g. production, post-production, editing)
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to teach a variety of courses and schedules

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field
