Job Summary:
Whitecap Search is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures in a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures
- Count and document sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operations
- Prepare patients for surgery as requested
- Provide technical assistance to surgeons and OR nurses as needed
- Wash and sterilize equipment using proper techniques
- Operate and maintain equipment to ensure proper function
- Take inventory and order surgical supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Must be a certified Surgical Technologist
- 2+ years of experience in a surgical setting
- 1+ year of experience in pain management, ENT, plastic surgery, or orthopedic surgery
- 1+ year of experience in an ambulatory surgery center environment
