Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Wellington Regional Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages.

• Deliver all aspects of respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and airway management.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members and act as a resource person.
• Participate in department QI studies, inservices, and meetings.
• Recognize the signs and symptoms of stroke and call a stroke alert overhead.
• Assess and maintain airway, assist with intubation, and transport of the intubated stroke patient.

• Graduate of an AMA-approved program.
• Current registered respiratory therapist license in the State of Florida.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in an acute care hospital, including adult critical care.
