The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, material handling, customer service, or inventory control. Experience leading, supervising, and/or mentoring staff is highly preferred. A postsecondary education in logistics, supply chain, business, accounting, finance, or other related field could offset the experience requirement.
You will work closely with nursing floors/OR staff to perform all par maintenance functions, manage employee job functions and schedule times, and maximize employee efficiencies. You will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for supply chain functions, promote single point of contact service for customers, and review MRP orders to assure appropriate inventory levels.
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, knowledge of automated materials management functions, and the ability to lead by example. You should also be able to introduce change and implement new programs, possess a sense of urgency, and demonstrate a proactive, customer-based philosophy.
