Emergency Department Nurse Specialist

At Halifax Health – Medical Center of Port Orange, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department. As an RN in this critical role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized patient care based on established clinical nursing practice standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act.
- Collaborate with peers and other professional disciplines to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical expertise and stay current with industry advancements.
- Currenlty licensed as a RN in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor degree/diploma/associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Certifications as required by individual unit/area.
- Professionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians and ancillary department personnel.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and advancement.
