Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at Waterway Primary Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our physicians in delivering exceptional medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories.
  • Assist physicians with minor surgeries, physicals, and other medical procedures.
  • Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
  • Maintain exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
  • Answer phone calls and screen referrals to the practice.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or one year of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials is highly preferred.
  • Candidates with one year of Medical work experience who do not possess Medical Assistant Certification must obtain Certification within one year of hire date.
