About the Role

As an Aircraft Electrician at StandardAero, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' aircraft. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be essential in installing, checking, repairing, overhauling, and rewiring complete electrical systems and components on a variety of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair electrical systems and components on aircraft, including wiring and electrical instruments
  • Perform functional and operational checkouts of electrical systems and instruments upon aircraft arrival and prior to departure
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems related to engine/APU starting and electrical power generation
  • Assist in installing avionics systems on corporate aircraft
  • Maintain battery shop equipment and ensure aircraft batteries are properly charged
  • Document all work accomplished in a clear and concise manner
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Aircraft Electrician
  • Technical ability on specific airframes and engines in inspections, maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, and repairs
  • Ability to work in tight spaces and manipulate equipment of all sizes
