We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Data Pipeline Developer to join our team at Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) in Columbus, Ohio.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to support machine learning workflows. Additionally, you will implement MLOps best practices to streamline the deployment, monitoring, and management of machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data pipelines using various programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Implement MLOps best practices to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and management of machine learning models.
  • Integrate data from various sources to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
  • Automate data processing and machine learning workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Monitor data pipelines and machine learning models in production, optimizing performance and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, MLOps processes, and related infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in MLOps.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
