About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineering Specialist to join our engineering team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our technology and contributing to the development of our digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop dynamic and responsive user interfaces using React, ensuring seamless interactions for our users.
- Manage build, testing, and deployment workflows, ensuring our applications are reliable, efficient, and easy to update.
- Implement custom integrations with third-party APIs, such as Salesforce, Box, and Asana, to enhance the functionality and connectivity of our applications.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of efficient, elegant, and maintainable code across both the front-end and backend.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing applications, identifying opportunities for improvements to enhance performance and user experience.
- Develop technical documentation to support our software solutions, making it easier for the team to maintain and scale applications.
- Participate in sprint planning, task management, and backlog organization within Asana, ensuring that development efforts are well-coordinated and aligned with project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 1-3 years of experience with React; exposure to Django or similar backend frameworks is a plus.
- Experience using Redux for state management; experience with RTK Query is a plus.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, with an understanding of integrating third-party services.
- Familiarity with modern development tools and workflows, such as version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
