As a key member of our Nursing Education department, you will play a vital role in supporting the professional development of our nursing staff and implementing programs to enhance the quality of care delivered.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine learning needs of nursing team members and develop targeted educational programs to address these needs.
- Support newly licensed nurse residents in the Hire Learning Nurse Residency Program and the PTAP accreditation process.
- Provide ongoing staff development and continuing education opportunities to enhance nursing practice and patient care.
- Develop and implement educational curriculum to meet the needs of our nursing staff.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
- BSN required; MSN preferred or enrolled in MSN program.
- 2 years of acute care nursing experience; 2 years of nursing education experience preferred.
- Valid New Jersey Nursing License; BLS required; ACLS preferred; Specialty Certification preferred.
