Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic examinations and procedures using various radiological equipment. This is a full-time position with a 0.9 FTE schedule, working 36 hours per week on day shifts.
Responsibilities- Perform radiologic examinations and procedures using various radiological equipment
- Operate and maintain radiological equipment, ensuring proper function and safety
- Develop and implement radiologic procedures, protocols, and guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Successful completion of an AMA-approved training program for Radiologic Technology
- Successful completion of mandatory fluoroscopy training within one month of hiring
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within one year of hire
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Current experience as a Radiologic Technologist
