Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Clackamas, Oregon.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT scanners and other radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, including routine, emergent, biopsy, and special procedure examinations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Administer contrast media and follow established departmental directives.
- Participate in quality assurance functions and troubleshoot equipment.
- Minimum one year of experience as a CT technologist within the past two years or six months of experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Diploma or GED required; Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography required at hire.
- Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
- Prior CT work experience using helical and/or multi-detector technology.
- Attendance at CT and cross-sectional anatomy courses.
- Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, and technical skills.
