Responsibilities:

  • Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents
  • Conducting daily rounds to observe resident's physical and emotional status
  • Medication administration
  • Monitoring resident care provided by unlicensed staff
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all resident care information
  • Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment

Requirements:

  • Current licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
